Freshly Made Sketches #471

7th February 2021 1 Comment

Hi there, todays card is made using the Freshly Made Sketch #471. When I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to use butterflies.

I started off by die cutting a Stitched circle from the Stitched shapes dies using the Oh So Ombre Granny Apple Green paper and using 3 of the large butterflies from the Butterfly Gala stamp set, I coloured them in using So saffron , Rococo Rose and Highland Heather blends.

When I added the butterflies to the left side of the circle I knew that I wanted to add something to the right side of the circle, so I stamped 3 little butterflies on the circle using the Grey Granite ink.

For the background, I went with the largest Stitched Rectangle die and used the Bermuda Bay Oh so Ombre paper.

When it came to the sentiment, I used another one of the Stitched Rectangle dies and stamped the Best Wishes from the A Touch of Ink stamp set on some white card.

I finished off the card by using some of the Wink of Stella glitter on the butterflies to make them sparkle.

I really like the colours on this card, I think they really work well together.

This is the Freshly Made Sketch for this week.

Thanks for visiting. Have a lovely day!

Louise
